Meet Stacey Rapp, CEO & Founder Safe In Home LLC (Southern Indiana)

Stacey didn’t start Safe In Home because she saw a business opportunity — she started it because her parents needed care, and the existing system didn’t show up.

Her father, a Vietnam veteran living with Parkinson’s from Agent Orange exposure, needed support. Years later, her mother developed spinal cancer and became paraplegic. They lived in a rural town in Southern Indiana and even though they had long‑term care insurance that was supposed to cover home care, no agency would send caregivers that far.

Stacey, a physical therapist for 25 years, stepped in herself. To be paid under the insurance, she had to form an agency. What began as a daughter ensuring her parents could stay home became a mission: to provide care in places where no one else is willing to show up.
